On an immediate and intimate scale, the community\u2019s end-of-street location makes for living with minimal traffic. On a larger scale, being located at the head of Lake Ontario is a position equivalent to an arterial hub \u2013 a quick drive to major highways and rail routes, walking distance to the multiple municipal bus stops at Maple Mall and cycling or walking distance to the Oakville GO station.<\/p>\n

As of the 2011 census, there were almost a million people (960,000) living within about\u00a020km of Lambs Court. At the same time, the city of Burlington had a population of only\u00a0184,000. That makes it a comparatively quiet centre surrounded by an enormous\u00a0availability of resources.
